HISTORY/ LOCATION OF
DIBRUGARH LIONS CLUBThis club was inaugurated on 6TH OCTOBER 1964. this is one of the oldest clubs of the district. The club has great potential and some of its leaders have great ability to make the club run faster and smoothly. It has its own legacy and the present leaders are not allowing the legacy to go waste. The club was chartered on on 19th January 1965 under the leadership of M A Rehman, this club was sponsored by Lions Club of Digboi, the 1st club of this district. Most of the members are from medical profession, which advantage itself need to be utilised by the club for its service oriented activities.
