| Comment | To whom it may concern; I am the Family Services Specialist at Virginia Rocca Barton Elementary. I have been here for about 3 months now. I would like some information on your eye-glass referrals. I found an old referral form dated 2003 and I was wondering if there was an updated version. I have a couple kids that really need eye glasses to be successful in school. Also, it might be too late now, but I was wondering if you have any toys for those less fortunate here at our school. We would like to donate to the children. | Comment | Dear sirs: I am the new optometrist at Clinica De Salud. I would like to say thank you for helping a patient that I recently referred to the Blind and Visually Impaired Center of Monterey County. Unfortunately, I will be seeing many patients who are uninsured. Also, patients who have not had access to preventative health care usually come in with more severe conditions. Thus, any suggestions you can provide about helping these patients is greatly appreciated. I know of the MIA program through Natividad hospital. Also, we provide services here on a sliding scale (but we do not have an ophthalmologist). Finally, the good news is that we also accept Medical. Thanks again for all of your work. I really appreciate what the Lion's Club does (my wife and I have gone of VOSH trips, and I volunteered for the Groveland Lion's club at one time too).
