My name is melissa mccullock and I have my own small business - I am a Tupperware Manager and have a fundraising idea that could help.

How it works is as many volunteers hold their own tupperware party and invite as many people as possible or you hold one massive party for people to order and the lions club can have 10% of the sales made and for any extra party bookings on the day another $10 will be donated. All gifts such as host gifts for holding a party can also be donated and raffled off to get you a little more money or to simply use within the lions club.

CommentI was wondering if you may be able to help. Some time ago my husband read in a newspaper about a voluntary mechanical workshop in Forrestfield area, run by retired mechanics, who assisted low income earners with mechanical repairs. We have been unable to find the info again. Do you know of any such group and how we would contact them.

We wish to help a friend who is a single mother of four children living in Forrestfield.

I am a member of Rochdale Lions and I and other members have a friend in High Wycombe who we are worried about. Her phone is either out of order or disconnected and she hasn't responded to emails or letters. We just want to know if there has been a fire at her house or something similar. If I gave you her address in confidence do you think you could just have a look to see if the house is okay? Or maybe make a discreet enquiry to check if everything is allright?
