My wife Tracey and I are visiting your great city, state and country at the beginning of June this year and it would be great to hook up with you guys when we visit, maybe I could even attend one of your breakfast meetings. I am interested in finding out more about clubs around the world and how we operate in differing ways, so we could maybe learn from one another. Currently I am the P&E Director of our club 'Grimsby Cleethorpes Lions' United Kingdom. At hand over I am proud to say I will be the 1st vice and also responsible for marketing and public relations. Sorry we do not have a website for you guys to view (still in the dark ages, but it is one thing that I will be addressing!) Our current president is Lion Steve Wakefield.
It would be great if you and your members would be interested in my proposal during our visit, I look forward to your response in anticipation.

Commentdoes the Lion's club still collect used eyeglasses to be donated? I would be interested in collecting them from work, family, and friends, but need some guidelines. Thanks.

Commentwe are a american, philippine family living in henderson. we have a 4 year old son that we have built a trisikad bike. he has so far pedeled it in the henderson parade. we are interested in conecting with your club and doing parade events with filipino participants who also do parade events. respond back if you also are interested. thank you, emylou haas

I am a member of the Wasaga Beach Lions club in Wasaga Beach Ontario Canada. I am a registered nurse and my husband is a Lion retired from the Canadian Air Force. Well to make a long story short I love the PBR but my husband does not. So my girlfriend Jean loves the rodeo to so we thought we would come to LasVegas for the PBR Nov 2-10, we are so excited. I have been looking at lodgings in LasVegas and really don't know what they would be like. Of course I know all the big well known hotels but can not affort them. If you could tell me of a nice clean place close to the arena I would appreicate your help. If it had a kitchenette that would be great and maybe a pool. We come from a small town so LasVegas seems a little scarry for two older ladies.
I sure would like to hear about the activities that your club does. We are a moderate size club with about 50 active members. Our two big money makers are our weekly Bingo and our Spring Garden Show. Of course we do lots of other fun things to we love Lions. Thanks Lions for your help.

Hello my name is Alexis Austin. I have heard many great things about the Lions Club, so I came to you to ask for a bit of help. I have become aware of a single mother of 4 is in need of some glasses. I was hoping that you may have some idea of how I can help by donations (eye exam and glasses). As of now the lady that I speak of has never had an eye exam before, but has much trouble seeing when she drives to and from work. She is using her daughter’s old broken glasses right now in hopes that it helps some. If you can lead me in the right directions I would be most appreciative.
