| Subject | Burger Burn-Out for CSFII |
| Comment | Hello Lion Joan, Greetings from the CSFII office at LCI Headquarters. I received notification (through a news service) that the Mountain Valley, PA Lions Club recently hosted a "Burger Burn-Out" to raise funds for CSFII--that's great! I wanted to get some more information about your club and this fundraiser and perhaps include it in an upcoming CSFII newsletter or other communication. It's always helpful to show how clubs like yours are making a good effort for CSFII. If you or this event Chairperson could take a few minutes to review the interview questions I have below and return any input or insights, that would be excellent. Also, any photos from the Burger event of your club members in action for CSFII would be great. Any other photos of clubs members are also appreciated. I hope to hear from you soon! Best regards, Katharine 1) How much in funds did the "Burger Burn-out" raise for CSFII? 2) What did the Lions and attendees enjoy most about the event? 3) Why do your club members feel so strongly about raising funds for CSFII? 4) What other fundraisers has your club conducted for CSFII? (MJFs designated to CSFII, personal gifts from members, gifts from non-Lions and businesses, etc.) 5) If you were to meet another Lions club that had not yet participated in CSFII fund raising, what would you say to encourage them? I'm also interested in any good photos of club members or guests from this fundraiser. If those photographed can be ID-ed by name and any Lions titles, that would be great. Thanks again for your time and insights, and most of all for your club's efforts to raise funds and save sight through CSFII! Feel free to call me with any questions. Very best regards, Katharine Katharine Meyer Communications Director Campaign SightFirst II Lions Clubs International Foundation Direct Phone: 630-468-6837 Fax: 630-203-3776 katharine.meyer@lionsclubs.org |
