Comment	Dear Lions members I am writing to you to request an opportunity to talk to your Lions Club about a unique and valuable organisation, Technical Aid to the Disabled SA (TADSA). Since its establishment in 1977, TADSA volunteers have designed and made, or modified, over 3,000 devices for people with disabilities. TADSA has around 30 technical volunteers who do this work by donating their time and skills, while the client (or funding body) pays for materials and out-of-pocket expenses (petrol, phone calls etc.). Our service not only assists people with disabilities but also the frail aged and as all of us grow older, our service may one day assist one of your members or their family. I would be delighted to attend one of your meetings and show a brief PowerPoint presentation that explains our service and some of the equipment our valued technical volunteers have designed and built. Comment	Hello! Me and my man are coming to Adelaide, having World Police and Fire games 2007 in march. I´m a member of Lady Lion´s Blanka in Finland and interesting visit your club house "The Saracens Head Tavern", perhaps see some of your member´s. We are waiting to see your nice country, haven´t be there before, maybe have some "tip´s" were to go. Subject	Helping those in need
Comment	I am so glad there are people like yourselves who help those who are'nt getting the help they really need. I have come across a couple of people i met while in Adelaide who give of themselves to help others but need the help themselves. Their names are Colin & Anna Miles of 11/23 Noble Steet Ovingham, 0412762361. They moved to Adelaide 6 months ago and are really struggling to get back on their feet. She is blind with a guide dog (libby) and he is suffering from a sever back condition ( already has had 5 back operations). They had their furniture stolen in transit, car destroyed while traveling down by hitting a roo and the vehicle they are currently driving is not very safe as that is all they can afford.If there is anyway you can help this apir it would be a great releif on my heart as im just a pensioner myself im limited in how i can help here in Palermo Italy. Thank god for your great work you are doning in South Australia.
