| Comment | I am trying to find charities that may be able to help raise money i need to have a much needed disabled extension built on my council home my local council will only pay 25,000 they say I need to fund the rest its for my 14 yr old disabled son I am a long term sick disabled single mum and my home is not suitable for my families needs i waited 5 yrs for this house to come up I cant wait that long again my only other option is to move again but they just dont have suitable properties that caters for my sons needs I am desperate all the council can offer me is to adapt rooms in my home this will mean I will loose a much needed dining room and my kitchen will be dangerously close to my front room where my son crawls I myself am forced to sleep on the sofa to be close to my son who is currently in what was my dining room, I moved him temp for his safety i have been struggling for over a yr to resolve this nightmare please can you help? |
