As I have moved 50 miles from my club, I seldom am able to atten our meetings. I would love to be able to read about them here if one of our members would take ownership of this site. I think our members put too much on Cliff and he should not be the one charged with yet another task. You know you schedule, your talents, share some time with the Lions in Shelbyville and members everywhere. Thanks.

CommentOctober 14- 34 of 40 members have paid their 2004 dues. 14 October Notes:Board Meeting- DH Fund distributed- 1,000 SCUFFY Cancer Soc, 1,000 local widow, 500 county cancer victum from Blue River Lions- total 2,500 distributed. Attendees:Bishopp,Tim,Mike D.,Bud,Freeman, Larry,Don, Lisher, John, Keener, Dick K., Joe, Wheeler,Cliff & Merrill. 15 attended 2465 hits + 100 WAP hits on our web page as of 10-14-03.

CommentDon, Pat, Merrill & Cliff + (guest Itdus) attended for great time and fun. Turned in over 350 pairs of eyeglasses. DG gave white cane day kit.

CommentSeptember 23- 34 of 40 members have paid their 2004 dues. 23 September Steak Night Notes:Low turn out could be increase in meal price or low participation in sales. 38 tickets were sold prior to the event with 86 meals served. Only 10 lions sold one or more tickets. The Prime Rib was exelent and everyone that attended had posivite comments. Can goods collected for Salvation Army turned over to Scott. Attendees:George E.Brunner,Tim,Chet,Mike D., John, Kabrich, Keener, Dick K., Ralph, Paul, Joe, Scott, Kip, Cliff & Merrill. 2422 hits + 99 WAP hits on our web page as of 9-29-03.

CommentGreat evening with 17 members and 55 guest attending. Awarded attendance awards for 5-50 years of service.MC Dick Kiefer kept us on time. Cliff out done himself in this effort.
