SubjectKids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta
CommentHi there,

A cure for every child, care for every family, that’s our vision at Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta (KCCFA) and the motivation that drives everything that we do. It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your club to help us achieve our goal to end childhood cancer.

Our organization would love the opportunity to share more information regarding childhood cancer and how we help these families through one of the most difficult times in their lives. We’d like to share ways your Club can be involved and become apart of all the good things happening in the field of childhood cancer.

We recognize that your Club has done great things in Alberta to create a better place in which to live, work and grow and it would be fantastic if we could work together in achieving our vision.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Ashlee Guise

SubjectSculpture Symposium
CommentHi again

We hoped to pass this opportunity on to all Lions Clubs in Alberta, I am having trouble doing that. Can you do that with a click of a button or could you give me a list of those. Understand if not.

Thanks Morton

Subjectcommunity opportunity
CommentAn event that is not for profit that may benefit your town.

In August 2008, an international stone sculpture symposium will be held at Bergen Alberta, approximately 80 miles northwest of Calgary. Over the course of a month, eight world-class sculptors from Vietnam, _______, _______, _______ and Canada will create unique and highly valuable sculptures from blocks of marble or sandstone weighing over 3 tons each.

This event presents a fantastic opportunity for __________ to sponsor one of the sculptors and to own the finished piece. Your piece can then be displayed in your town, office, park etc., donated to a community or organization, or sold to raise funds for a worthy cause.

The cost to sponsor a sculptor is $10,000 Can, dramatically less than the cost of commissioning a sculpture of similar size and quality. The sponsorship fee covers meals, accommodation, materials, equipment and a modest honorarium for the sculptor.

In return, your organization will receive the following benefits of sponsorship:
- Logo recognition on-site and community event signage;
- Name recognition, where possible, in media and editorial coverage;
- Name or logo recognition in paid media promotions;
- Access to the event for representatives of your company.
- You company can include it’s name or logo on the title plaque at the permanent installation to commemorate your role in making the sculpture possible.

If this opportunity interests you, I would be happy to provide a list of sculptors who would like to attend, along with their web site and e-mail addresses. You can then view the biographies and works of the sculptors and/or contact those whose work interests you.

I’d love to talk with you more about this exciting event and opportunity. Please contact me anytime at the coordinates below. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

SubjectPins Exchange
CommentIm Lion Joe Bantle, webmaster of the Prince Albert Lions Club. We are in MD 5 - District 5CN in Saskatchewan. I have recently designed our first club web page and also have started a personal hobby for myself. This hobby is a endeavor to collect a Lions club pin from each Lions club in Canada.

Would you have a club pin to exchange in return for a club pin from our club? Please also check out our web page.
