The Lion’s club has a tradition of serving people particularly during crisis and calamities .What you could do during koshi floods is an achievement in it self India is suffering from worst epidemic of Heart Disease and related disorders like diabetes and blood pressure. Experts say that in next 20 yrs the load in our country will be more than total load of China, Russa & USA put together. Physicians alone can not take this challenge and NGOs will have to come forward. Having been part of this great culture benevolence is in our blood. Latest insight in medical research has shown that benevolence is extremely good for our health and heart while wrath and unresolved resentment is damaging to heart and health. In the recently concluded physician’s meet in Maurya hotel Patna: BAPICON 2009 I gave a talk to impress this point. We concluded that worst enemies for Heart are • Tension • Tobacco • Trans fatty acid : Hydrogenated Fat in VANASPATTI ,DALDA & Fast Food We defined our strategy to save heart • DADI MAAN KAA KHANA • DADA JEE KAA Life Style • Giving & Forgiving Heart of BUDDHA Our Forum for Healthy and Happy Heart has taken this challenge to tame the epidemic of DIL KA DAURA and related diseases, Diabetes, Blood Pressure & cholesterol etc. with the help of NGO and intellectuals. We intend to take this medical knowledge to common man in their language Our HRIDA RAKHA SHROTAM is one such effort Let us join hands on the principle of SANGACHADHWAM (Concluding sloka of Rig-Veda). It tales us to move together. With similar heart and similar mind we are expected to move towards betterment of this world.
