SubjectEvent Space for non-profit dinner meeting
CommentTo Whom It May Concern:

I represent a local chapter of the non-profit Oncology Nursing Society. We conduct several dinner meetings each year for our members that live in the bay area. I have three dates for which I am trying to locate a meeting hall. All our dinners are from 5:30pm-8:30pm on Thursday nights, the specific dates are 3/18/10. 9/16/10 and 11/11/10. We would require a space that could accommodate 40-60 diners with a speaker, projection screen and microphone. Also we need a separate area (separated by a wall, curtain or divider) for our exhibitor/supporters to have 6-10 display tables and our sign-in table. Is there a space at the Foster City recreation center that could accommodate us? If so what are the costs associated with using the space?

Thank you for your consideration of our group,

Amy E. Parker RN MA

SubjectThank you for Easter Egg Hunt!
CommentThank you for a wonderful day, including a scrumptious breakfast by the friendly Lions Club members and their families, beautiful music by the Elks members, and a most exciting egg hunt.

May I make a suggestion regarding the schedule of the egg hunt? The hunt was scheduled to occur in age groups until about 11 a.m. Our family arrived early and was able to enjoy the festivities, however, many families arrived at about 9:30 a.m., and sadly missed the egg hunt. My suggestion would be to extend the egg hunt for the age groups, scatter the eggs in a larger area, and maybe advertise/schedule the entire hunt for a smaller time frame, so that the families wouldn't assume it would last 2 hours and then miss the hunt altogether.

Again, thank you for a most wonderful Easter Event. We're looking forward to enjoying the festivities again next year with our two children.

Best,
Kathleen

CommentI recently learned through the Burlingame Soccer Club that you rent out your clubhouse for various events. What is the procedure, the fees and contact information for scheduling?
