A very innovative idea whereby without much expenses we Lions can win the hearts of general public and get new members. The normal feelings that Lions are mainly interested in Photo and eat - drinks could be avoided. WE ARE SERVING THE COMMUNITY PRACTICALLY EVERY DAY WITH OUR OWN HANDS. Our expenses on Health Camp Project are practically nothing. We receive invitations from various sources for holding demonstration and teaching programs practically every day. We do that with our team of dedicated Lions. We are serving our community as given below. THE ACTIVITIES RECOMMENDED BY THE LIONS INTERNATIONAL - Suggestions of the Lions Club of Golden Goregaon N. W. Culture and Community Activities program - Teach people how to look after their health WITHOUT DRUGS AND BE THEIR OWN Su Jok doctors. Diabetes Awareness program Teach them how to get rid of diabetes as far as possible. Environment program Let us try to inform people that they can get rid of pain problems without pain killers. We are ready to demonstrate the same. Pain is generally removed or reduced in a matter of few seconds or minutes! Hearing program One can get back natural hearing even at age of 90 or more. We ere able to restore hearing and speaking of a patient who had lost his hearing and speech at age of 5 and at age of 61 he approached us at Nairobi KENYA and after treatment he started hearing. The press and Kenya TV published our article and gave a one hour program on Radio. People thanked Lions Clubs. Sight Conservation and Work with the Blind program People can get better vision by pasting two black pepper seeds on their thumb at the points for eyes and in few months they can get back normal vision at practically no cost. Cataract can be avoided by Su Jok Therapy at practically no cost. International Relations programs including Interclub We are teaching Su Jok Therapy all over the world on TV . The Lions Program is on Aastha TV Channel received in 165 countries twice daily and on CMM channel also twice daily. It is so much appreciated by people that we are getting lot of email and letters appreciating Lions Service to humanity. We receieve emails from many Pakistani brotherns also. Club Twinning program We are twinning with Lions Clubs of various districts in India and abroad. Also we are twinning with Rotary Clubs, Police authorities, Army and Air Force and various NGOs. We are prepared to come to Pakistan, if we are given an opportunity to talk and demonstrate to your leaders. I am sure there will be no dearth of patients amongst the members and their families, as unfortunately there is no treatment with the medical science. Our treatment consists of treatment on hand or foot, no drugs are administered, so no side effects at all. Our services are appreciated by law enforcing agencies like the Police and Army. Lions are managing Su Jok Centre in Army Section Hospital at Mumbai for the last three years. You can imagine if it was not successful we could have been in serious trouble. | Comment | LIONS OF GOD: ZAKAT / DONATION FOR A 17 YEARS OLD BONE CANCER PATIENT I am an unfortunate father of a 17 years old boy who is suffering from bone cancer which is presently developing in his left knee. My son who has just passed his Matriculation examination and was planning to take admission in College, when Doctors diagnosed OSTEO-SARCOMA. Osteo-sarcoma is a cancer which starts in the bone. It often starts in the ends of the bones where new bone tissue forms as a young person grows. It can occur anywhere in the body, but most commonly starts in the bones of the arms or the legs Bad days do not take permission before entering in your life. Life and death is in Allah Almightys control but it is our duty to try our best to save the life of a human being. To save the life of a 17 years old boy, we have only one option i.e. Amputation (A surgery to remove affected part of body) and remove the left leg of the boy. This treatment will disable my son for whole of his remaining life but it is necessary to save his life. However, some Doctors in abroad hope that knee can also be replaced without amputation. But this surgery is not a simple treatment and it would cost about 10 lacs (one million) in Pakistan and 20 lacs (2 million) in abroad, which includes operation, medicines, hospitalization etc. Presently chemotherapy is being given to shrink the tumour before Surgery. To save the life of my young boy, I am ready to sell everything which I possess but it would also not enable me to collect the money, which I need for the treatment of my son. Being a Muslim, I have a belief that God does not put a person in problem more than his strength. I would request you to pray for me that God may give me more strength. I also pray for every parent and individual that God may not show you such type of illness of children. Definitely God will help me to save the life of my son (if my son has the life) but I have to arrange money for the treatment of boy. Therefore, I request you to please help me and donate some money to meet the medical/surgery expenses of my son and/or pray for successful treatment. I cannot do any thing for you but only to pray for you and God knows your intention and will definitely give you more in life. Please help me to save the life of my child ALLAH!
