SubjectNeed help with Glasses
CommentHello Lions Club. I just graduated from college at Southern Oregon University and now moved back to Maui to start my adult life here. I am legally blind with acromatopsia, a rare genetic defect of the retina in which there are no cones. I am hoping to find a job and transportation here. However I need at least 2 pairs of special glasses to fit my unique needs as regular sunglasses are not dark enough for me. I use different degrees of darkness for different lights. I was very grateful that you helped me when I was young at least once. I have very limited funds at this point and would be very thankful if you can help me with these expensive glasses which I might not otherwise be able to obtain.

CommentI have fond memories as a little girl going to lions club meetings and christmas parties in the Bunkers?? Does anyone know my father, he passed away when i was 9 and I would love to hear any stories about him! He passed away in 81, so probably in the middle to late 70's. Please email me any info you may have!
