| Comment | Just wanted to say hello from District 23B in Connecticut. My father, Julius J. Wuerthner, PID, was the first International Director from District 37 in 1930-32. My oldest brother, John P. Wuerthner, was a past president of the Great Falls Lions Club of which my father was the charter president in 1922. He was also the first District Governor of District 37 in 1926. I will be completing my 44th year as a Lion. I joined in 1957 in Butte but had some time off and then rejoined several years later. The Wuerthner family has a record of 83 years of continuous Lions service. |
