| Comment | Hello fellow Lions... I am a member of the Morrisburg & District Lions Club in District A4 - Canada. I will be vacationing in Lakeland, Florida for a couple of weeks (February 23 - March 6, 2009). I checked to see if there was a Lions Club in Lakeland and found your site. I understand you hold your meetings on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month. I am considering attending your meeting on March 5th if that would be OK. Do you have dinner meetings? It is always nice to visit a Lions Club in a place far away from where you live and I would enjoy visiting yours. Please let me know if this would be OK. Thanks. |

| Comment | My husband and I live in Lakeland. When we came here 8 years ago I had a service dog named Rescue, I worked at the Plantation Restaurant with Rescue for 4 years. We lost Rescue in February of last year. I have applied and been accepted for a new dog at Paws For a Cause. The cost of a new is about $20,000.00. I was hoping that the Lions Club could possiably help with a small amount of the cost. If you would like to talk with me or have someone from Paws With a Cause come and speak to your members and do a demo we could certainly arrange that. Thank you for you time, I hope to hear from you. | Comment | Please pass this along to the proper channels ...... my Sister Yolanda Santos from Lutz Florida (tele 813-962-1793 was refused aid -in receiving a pair of frames (her's broke and she can't see ). I want you to know my brother Gerry Auciello received the highest honor from your organization in the LIONS and I have your news paper to prove it.The lady in charge at Lutz-I believe Cathy Walton ?? said she didn't care and they don't help SENIORS she's a LIAR-i JUST DONATED 12 PAIRS I FREQUENTLY BUY AT THRIFT STORES TO DONATE =that woman is more interested in BINGO and belongs playing BINGO instead of LIONS AS SHE HAS NO HEART FOR THE PO0R-the Lions donated a pair to me in OKLA CITY so I know shes a LIAR my sister like me live on fixed income and this is disgraceful for your organization.I would appreciate hearing from someone in LIONS .......
