| Comment | A friend of mine has an interesting map of Willow Springs in black and white about 24x18 inches which was hand drawn and marked with the Lions Club and given out as a public service. It has all the old business plces along archer and has points of interest like Playland Amusement Park. does anyone know when that map was it was given out? |

| Comment | Friends and family of Jane Jobe-Bencik cordially invite you to participate in a celebration of her life. As some of you know, Jane has been dealing with her illness since November 1988, when first diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, the cancer has spread to her bones and liver and Jane currently receives weekly chemo treatments. Also, on March 17, 2004, Jane fell and broke her hip, but has thankfully had a full recovery. We are raising money to support Jane in her fight with cancer by hosting a dinner dance on November 7, 2004 at Pierre's Banquets, 3237 S. Harlem Ave. (Berwyn, IL). A family style dinner will be served at 7pm. Open bar, serving named brand liquor, beer, and wine, will be available (except during dinner when only wine will be served). The celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. and a silent auction will be held as well as a raffle. Those who wish to purchase raffle tickets need not attend the dinner dance as the winner can be contacted via telephone. The winner of the Grand Prize will receive $1,000 cash. For those who wish to attend the dinner dance, please RSVP and send a check for $75 (per person) by October 11, 2004. Donations (cash or prizes) are also appreciated.
