HISTORY OF THE GEELONG
BREAKFAST CLUB
The Lions Club of Geelong
Breakfast is one of the youngest clubs in MD201, having chartered in June 2001.
Unlike most other clubs,
the Lions Club of Geelong Breakfast is not geographically based in any one
particular area given the presence of other town/suburb-based clubs in the
Geelong region ? but we draw our membership from all of these areas.
The name says it
all?.Geelong Breakfast?..we do not meet in the evening, we meet for breakfast at
7.00am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, and the attraction to our
members and prospective members of course, is that the meeting must be finished
by 8.30am because most of our members work, and so off we go to work, refreshed,
invigorated and ready for the challenges that life has to offer.
If you are looking for a
fresh start, a new beginning, and the evenings to yourself, then Geelong
Breakfast is for you!
