Benefit Breakfast Sales
Canvassing the neighborhood will start morning of April 20. Meet at Burger King at 8:00 am for maps and presales meeting.
Hawaii Kai Public Library Project
Friends of Hawaii Kai Public Library has asked us to assist with their coming book sale. Specifically, they need help in (1) moving boxes of stored books into the sales area and (2) repacking unsold books and returning them to storage or to the upstairs daily book-sale area.
The big picture:
WHO -- Friends of Hawaii Kai Public Library
WHAT --- Assist with their annual book sale
WHERE -- Meeting room of the Library
WHEN -- May l2 to 20, 2008 (book sale days will be May 17 and 18, Saturday and Sunday)
We have been asked to do the following:
Monday, May 12, 9:00 to l2 noon -- move boxes of books from storeroom or upstairs daily sales
area to various tables in meeting room sales area.
Tuesday, May 13, 9:00 to 12 noon -- (only if necessary, if above work is not done)
Monday and Tuesday, May 19 and 20, 9:00 to 12 noon -- repack unsold books and return to
storage closet.
Project called off per word from Lion Richard Ok.! Please do not show up for project. Cancellation Notice posted 5/10/08 at 5:30 pm by DPKC.
