  • LOUISVILLE LION MICKEY RYTER was presented with a certificate recognizing him for 48 years of service to the Lions at the February 8, 2005 meeting. The certificate was signed by Lions International President Clement Kusiak.

  • LOUISVILLE LIONS CLUB and the Louisville Kiwanis Club are sponsoring the new edition of the Louisville Community Phone Directory. These new phone books, which feature ONLY phone numbers for the local community, are available now...and they are FREE! Please support the many advertisers who have advertised in the new edition (and the old editions). The advertisers generosity helps make it possible to offer these phone books free of charge and the money raised helps many other organizations in Louisville, Stark County and Ohio. The Louisville Lions Club phone book project first began in 1959-60.

  • LOUISVILLE LIONS CLUB continues to support people in need in the community that are in need of eye exams and eyeglasses.

  • LOUISVILLE LIONS CLUB is the sponsor of the monthly students and employees of the month awards for the Louisville City Schools. Six students and three employees are honored at the monthly school board meeting.

  • LOUSIVILLE LIONS CLUB continues to collect old eyeglasses in the community. Collection boxes are located throughout the Louisville area. Collected glasses are then sent to the Uniontown, Ohio Lions Club (www.uniontownlions.org) which has a program to recycle and distribute the eyeglasses.

  • LOUISVILLE LIONS CLUB is selling brooms. They are available at Meadows Insurance Agency, 507 East Main Street in Louisville.

  • LOUISVILLE LIONS CLUB continues to raise funds for projects with the Mint and Gum Ball Machine Programs.
