The regular meeting on July 14th is canceled.
The Board of Directors meeting will be held on July 21st at the Lawton Ave meeting place. Meeting time is 7 PM.
The regular meeting on July 28th will be the annual installation of officers. The meeting will be held at the Middletown Olive Garden restaurant. Meeting time is 6:30 PM.
The annual District 13-H Lions Club outing to see a Dayton Dragons game will be on Sunday, August 31st.

How to become a Lions Club member: The Lions Club Adopt-A-Highway cleanup was done on June 9th, 2008.
The Monroe Lions awarded $500 scholarships to four (4) Monroe seniors at the High School awards ceremony on May 14th, 2008.
The annual Easter Egg hunt was on March 22nd at the Monroe Community Park.
The annual Rose Sale was on March 19th, 2008. 141 dozen roses were sold to help fund Lions Club Community projects.
The annual pancake breakfast was on December 1st, 2007 at Monroe High School.
The annual Lions Club Day at the Dayton Dragons was September 2nd, 2007.
The Lions Club Adopt-A-Highway cleanup was done on August 27th, 2007. This project covers Main St. from Route 63 to the Jubilee market.
The Lions Club participated in the inaugural Monroe Fourth of July parade with a float. It was a lot of fun riding in the parade and waving to the people along the parade route.

The annual Easter Egg hunt was on Saturday, April 7th, 2007. The weather was cold but the kids spirits were high and everyone had a great time.
The annual ROSE sale was on March 21st, 2007. The Lions Club sold 196 dozen roses. The income from this project will go toward funding our community projects.
